Green Jobs Network is based in the David Brower Center. This building, an environmentally-friendly 50,000 square-foot office and event space located next to the campus of the University of California, Berkeley, is designed to inspire people to take steps toward creating a healthier, more sustainable world. This building is named after the late David Brower, who among his contributions, served as Executive Director of the Sierra Club, founded Friends of the Earth, co-founded the League of Conservation Voters, and founded Earth Island Institute.
